Together we give—Please help double our impact

You give, we match.

We are proud to stand with people around the world to raise awareness and support for those helping our communities. Please consider helping to double our impact. This Giving Tuesday, we’re adding the Children’s Healing Center to the growing list of organizations we support.

The Center is an oasis for members to step away from the stress of a complex medical diagnosis to experience the healing power of Good. Clean. Fun.® With a focus on socialization, play-therapy, recreation and education, kids, young adults and families have a safe space to express themselves, interact with others and feel a sense of belonging.

They serve a diverse population of kids with medically complex conditions, including, but not limited to:

  • Autoimmune Conditions
  • Blood Disorders
  • Congenital Heart Defects
  • Cancer
  • Kidney Disease
  • Neuromuscular Disorders
  • Transplants
  • Rare Diseases
  • Whole Family
  • An inclusive facility designed for the entire family

The Center recognizes all families who come through our doors are dealing with trauma from a medical diagnosis and subsequent hospitalizations, surgeries, treatments and loss. They provide a safe space where all who have experienced medical trauma can be vulnerable, ask for and receive support, be listened to – and cared for – without judgement.

The Children’s Healing Center is cost-free for member families. They work hard to ensure membership is free to all qualifying children and their immediate family, made possible through generous charitable contributions and community support.

We will match donations, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500. To participate, click the Donate button below by November 29, 2022.

Please mention BlueWater Partners in the comment box so we can match your donation.

Supporting our Community

There are so many people in our community who need help. This year, we worked with several organizations by giving our time and financial support. Learn more about what they do and how you can get involved.

The First Tee

The First Tee enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, they create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do. Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County has led the local effort to recognize, report and reduce child sexual abuse since 1993. Along the way, they’ve helped thousands of children and families achieve healing and justice with services being provided at no cost. View the video to find our more.

Children’s Advocacy Center of Ottawa County

New City Kids

New City Kids offers after school programming for local low-income youth. Children and teens get a chance to explore music and academics in a creative and fun environment. Though there are many challenges of urban life, especially for youth, these programs give children a safe place to feel and hear that they are valued and loved. New City Kids aims to draw children into hope by developing in them skills, talents, and desires for their future. By surrounding them with a community of love and development, they strive to set youth on a path of transformation that will carry them forward for the rest of their lives. Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation

As an independent nonprofit organization, the primary purpose of the Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation is to exclusively raise, grow and steward funds and other community resources to support the Grand Rapids Public Schools for the benefit of its students.

Kids’ Food Basket

The Kids’ Food Basket believes healthy food is a right, not a privilege, for every child. Working collaboratively to meet the needs of every child and family they serve, they aim to pursue a hunger-free West Michigan in a way that promotes the experiences and passion of our local community.
